Is PRC down? User reports show no current problems with PRC
PRC is the Professional Regulation Commission, the agency that licenses professionals in the Philippines. Its LERIS portal at online.prc.gov.ph handles exam applications, initial registration, license renewal and ID replacement. A separate verification page lets anyone check a license by name or number.

Is PRC down right now?
Current PRC status checks and PRC down reports from applicants show LERIS answering for most users today. Sign-in, transaction forms and appointment pages load under normal load.
Most complaints name one step, like slots, photo upload or payment posting, while the rest of the portal keeps moving. Read the step that failed for you against the sections below.
Is PRC down for me or everyone?
Try LERIS on a second browser or a phone, then ask a classmate or coworker to open their dashboard. If their page loads and yours will not, your profile or an old transaction is blocking you.
Exam applications and appointment slots
Exam applications start with a complete profile, a chosen exam and an office with an open slot. Every transaction needs an appointment, and offices release slots in batches through the day.
Print the application form after payment, since the office asks for that copy on your appointment day. Bring valid IDs that match the name format used in your school records.
Profile photos, records and the no-record error
LERIS asks for a recent ID photo in a set format, with a plain background and formal attire. The no-record error usually means the name or birth date typed differs from the record on file.
Renewal, duplicate IDs and initial registration
Renewal of the Professional Identification Card starts in LERIS and ends with claiming at your chosen office. New passers use initial registration to get their first card after the oath step.
Payments, verification and oathtaking sign-ups
Fees are paid through the payment channels offered inside the transaction, and posting can lag behind the payment itself. The verification page checks a license by name or number for employers and clients.
Common PRC Problems and Fixes
Most LERIS faults come from an incomplete profile, a photo the system dislikes or a floating payment. Clear the checks below first, with your license number and ID photo file ready.
Payment done but transaction still shows pending
Give the payment a few hours to post, then open the transaction again from your dashboard. During a PRC outage, paid transactions can sit on pending until the portal syncs again.
No appointment slots at your chosen office
Check back early and late in the day, since offices release fresh slots in batches. Never pay a fixer for a slot, since LERIS accounts tied to fixers get flagged and locked.
Photo upload keeps failing the checks
Use a plain white background, formal attire and a straight, well-lit shot of your face and shoulders. Save the file in the format named on the upload screen and keep it under the size limit.
Existing transaction blocks a new application
Open the existing transaction page and finish or let the old transaction lapse before you start a new one. LERIS allows one active transaction of the same type per account at a time.
Verification page finds no license under your name
Search with the exact name format on your card, including suffix handling for compound names. New passers appear after initial registration completes, so a fresh passer can be missing during a PRC outage or a posting lag.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create a LERIS account for the first time?
Register on the official portal with your email, full name and a photo ID that matches your records. Fill every required field and upload a proper ID photo to complete the profile. Your PRC status as a registered user starts once the profile reaches full completion.
What should I bring on my appointment day?
Bring the printed application or renewal form, your valid IDs and your payment proof. Some transactions also ask for school records or an old card, as listed in the transaction notes. Arrive at the office named in LERIS, since another office cannot pull up your slot.
Can I renew my PRC license fully online?
The renewal filing and payment happen in LERIS, but claiming the new card happens at the office you picked. A few professions allow other claiming routes named inside the transaction. Book the appointment inside LERIS even for renewal, since walk-in renewal is not the norm.
Why does LERIS say my profile is not complete?
A missing field, an unaccepted photo or an unverified detail keeps the completion bar below full. Open each profile tab and hunt for blank required fields marked on screen. Exam applications stay locked until the bar reads complete.
Where can employers verify my PRC license?
Employers use the verification page on the PRC site and search by your name or license number. The result shows your profession and registration details from the official record. If the record looks wrong, file a correction petition through LERIS rather than editing the profile name alone.
Does a PRC license expire if I skip renewal?
The license itself stays on record, but the card expires and an expired card is risky to present at work. Renewal in LERIS restores a current card with a new validity period. Late renewal can add a surcharge, and some professions ask for added steps after a long lapse.
