Is Keep down? User reports show problems with Keep
Keep is a fitness app where users follow workout courses, training plans, and live classes at home. It records runs and rides with GPS, syncs with watches and bands, and logs each finished workout to a training history. Plans and course progress live in the account.

Is Keep down right now?
Athlete reports build the Keep status here, and Keep down reports rise in the early morning and evening workout peaks. Course streaming strains first in those hours. A report pattern spread across the whole day points instead to an app build problem after an update.
Most of a workout runs from downloaded or cached course data. That is why a platform fault often shows up at sign-in or at the save step, not mid-workout. The failure moment tells you a lot.
Is Keep down for me or everyone?
Open a short free course you have used before. If it plays while your plan page fails, one service inside the app is down. If the app will not sign in on any network, the account service is out. The report flow above shows the wider shape today.
Why does a Keep course video pause mid-workout?
Course videos stream unless you downloaded them first. A weak signal pauses the stream while the timer keeps counting, which ruins the session flow. Busy home Wi-Fi at dinner hour is the classic cause. Downloading the course before the workout removes the network from the session entirely.
Heat also slows older phones during long sessions, so short breaks between courses help.
How does Keep sync with watches and bands?
Keep pulls heart rate and workout data from linked watches and bands after each session. The link runs through the phone’s health permissions. A phone update that resets those permissions silently stops the sync. The workouts still record in Keep; only the watch data goes missing.
Sync happens when the app next opens with the watch nearby. Long delays usually mean the band was out of range at that moment.
Can I download Keep courses for offline training?
Many courses offer a download button for offline use. Downloaded courses play with no network and save the workout when you reconnect. During a Keep outage, offline courses keep training on track while plan pages and sign-in recover. Membership courses follow the account state at download time.
Does my Keep plan carry across devices?
Plans, history, and course progress follow the account, not the phone. Signing in on a tablet shows the same plan week. An empty plan on a new device means a second account opened at sign-in. The original phone number brings the real account back.
Common Keep Problems and Fixes
Paused courses and lost workout saves lead Keep reports. The five fixes below protect sessions and records.
Download the course before the session
Open the course on good Wi-Fi and tap its download button. Wait for the full file before starting. Offline playback ignores network dips completely. This one habit ends most mid-workout pauses.
Reconnect the watch link after phone updates
Open Keep’s device page and check the watch still shows as linked. If not, link it again and allow the health permissions it asks for. Do a short test workout and confirm the data lands. Fixing the link early saves a week of missing records.
Let a workout save before closing the app
After finishing, wait on the summary screen until the save completes. Closing the app mid-save can drop the record. If a record is missing, reopen Keep on the same network and check history again.
Fix GPS drift by starting outdoors
Start run recording outside with a clear sky view. Tall buildings and tunnels bend GPS tracks in every running app. A correct first fix keeps the whole route honest. Phone battery saver modes also weaken GPS, so switch them off for runs.
Sign in with the number that holds your plan
Open the profile and confirm the phone number shown is your training account. Plans live on one account only. If the number is wrong, sign out and return with the original one. Your plan week and history reappear at once.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do when a Keep course keeps pausing?
Download the course on good Wi-Fi and play it offline. Pauses are almost always network dips, not the platform. Offline play removes them fully.
Is Keep down if my workout did not save?
A single lost save is usually a closed app or a dropped connection at the save moment. Many users failing saves at once points to the platform. Check the reports here.
How do I get my Keep plan back on a new phone?
Sign in with the same phone number as the old phone. Plans follow the account. A fresh sign-in method creates an empty account.
Can I train with Keep while the platform is down?
Downloaded courses still play and record offline. The workout posts to your history once the service returns. New downloads and plan changes must wait.
Where do my Keep run records live?
Runs sit in your training history in the app, with the route map on each record. They follow your account across devices.
Why is my Keep route map wrong?
GPS bends near tall buildings and under battery saver modes. Start the run outdoors and turn saver modes off.
