Is Documento down right now?
Start with the Documento status reports on this page, then look at fresh Documento down reports from other readers. A spike in reports at the same hour points to a real fault on documentonews.gr, not a problem in your home. Most spikes come when a big investigation lands and thousands of readers open the site at once.
If reports stay flat, the fault sits closer to you. Try the front page and one older article. A front page that loads while a fresh story fails often means that single page is broken, not the whole site.
Is Documento down for me or everyone?
Open documentonews.gr on your phone data with Wi-Fi off. If the site loads there, your home connection or browser is the blocker. If both routes fail and reports climb here, a wider Documento outage is under way and only waiting helps.
What readers open first on documentonews.gr
Most visits start on the front page, where the newest investigations sit at the top. Readers scan the headlines, open the lead story and move to the documents and files the article links to.
The politics and society sections carry the daily flow between editions. Opinion columns sit beside the reporting, and the search box digs up older investigations by name or topic.
How the digital edition and subscriptions work online
The Sunday paper sells through the site as a digital edition you read in the browser. Buyers sign in, pay once or subscribe, and open the full pages from their account. A locked edition after payment usually means the sign in used a second account, so check the email on the order first.
When a big investigation lands on documentonews.gr
Revelation days push the site hard. Pages slow down, photos arrive late and the comment stream stalls under the load. Reading the text of the story while images still load gets you the facts while the rush fades.
How to follow Documento stories between editions
The newsletter brings the top stories to your inbox, and the site feeds on social networks flag fresh pieces. Turning the newsletter on inside your account settings keeps you current without refreshing the front page all day.
Common Documento Problems and Fixes
Reader reports on documentonews.gr name blank article pages, sign in loops and editions that stay locked after payment. Each fault below pairs with the screen readers describe most. Work through them in order, since the early ones clear most visits in a minute or two.
Article page opens blank
Reload the story once and wait a few seconds. Heavy photo sets load last on this site. If the text still hides, open the same link in a private window, where old cookies and blockers stay out of the way.
Sign in loops back to the login form
Clear the cookies for documentonews.gr and sign in again with the email you used at signup. A second address splits your editions and comments across two accounts.
Paid edition stays locked after payment
Open your account page and check the order list. When the payment shows there, sign out fully and back in so the edition opens for you. If the order list stays empty after an hour, the payment did not finish.
Comments never appear under a story
Comments pass a moderation queue on documentonews.gr, so a short wait is normal. If yours never shows, shorten it and drop any links, since link heavy comments get held most often. Comments written in a calm tone pass the queue fastest on this site.
Site crawls on revelation days
Close extra tabs and let one story load fully before opening the next. The text of the article arrives first, so start reading while photos fill in behind it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I open the Sunday Documento paper online?
Buy the digital edition on documentonews.gr, sign in with the same account, and open it from your account page. The edition reads in the browser, so no extra program is needed.
Why does documentonews.gr slow down on big story days?
A major investigation pulls thousands of readers at once. The rush slows page loads and photo loading until traffic settles.
Can I comment on Documento articles without an account?
No. Comments need a registered account, and each comment passes moderation before it appears under the story.
Where do I find older Documento investigations?
Use the search box on documentonews.gr and type a name or topic. Results list older stories and the documents tied to them. The archive reaches back across many editions, so a search by person or case name works best.
Does the Documento site charge for news articles?
Daily news and opinion pieces read free on the site. The full Sunday edition is the paid part, sold as a digital copy.
What should I check first when documentonews.gr will not open?
Try the site on phone data, then look at the reports on this page. If reports spike too, the fault sits with the site itself.
