Reserving and finding your scooter
Tap a scooter on the map and reserve it, which holds it for a short window while you walk over. The Beep-Beep button sounds the horn and blinks the lights, so you can spot your scooter on a crowded street.
A scooter missing from its map spot was often moved or taken despite the pin. Cancel the reserve and pick the next one nearby. Battery levels on the map tell you how far each scooter can still go. The reserve costs nothing until the ride starts.
Starting the ride and the helmet case
At the scooter, start the ride in the app and the helmet case opens for the helmets inside. The engine starts once the case and the stand are set right. A case that stays shut after a clean start needs a report from the ride screen. Two helmets sit in the case on most scooters, in two sizes.
Pausing and ending the ride
Pause mode lets you park and keep the booking during a stop. To end, park in an allowed area, put the helmets back in the case, close it, and end the ride in the app. An end screen that refuses is often about the parking spot, not a Cooltra outage.

The app sells day passes and minute packs beside pay per minute rides, and your balance shows before you start. Registration asks for ID photos and a selfie, and the account opens once the team approves the documents. Approval can take time at busy moments. Close the helmet case before ending
The ride cannot end with the case open or helmets outside it. Put both helmets in, shut the case firmly, then end the ride.
Move to an allowed parking area
The app refuses to end a ride outside the allowed zones. Ride into the marked area on the map and end the ride there.
Finish document approval before a trip
New accounts wait for ID and licence approval before the first ride. Send clear photos early, since a blurry document restarts the check.
Report a faulty scooter from the map
Use the help button on the map to flag damage or a dead scooter. The report frees you from the booking and warns the next rider.
